Beginning his career in 1984 as an Architectural Technician, Ian qualified in 1999 as an Architect and in 2000 joined David Stead in his established Practice in Sheringham. With his passion and infectious enthusiasm for high quality and cutting edge Design and Architecture, Ian has led SMG since 2003 to become one of the region’s leading Architectural Practices.
Ian still enjoys hand-drawing plans whilst embracing new technology within his field.
His commitment to clients and staff alike and his determination for SMG to behave in an ethical, considerate way is informed by his Christian faith and Ian is a committed member of the local Baptist Church, The Lighthouse.

Provision of hall to seat 50, Kitchen, adequate toilet provisions and storage. The design reflects the main architecture of the original 100-year old church, providing stonework; knapped flints; brick and stone arches; slate roof etc., detailed to match existing window; buttresses; apex and coping stones to parapets. The flint work was locally sourced and knapped. Lime-based mortar and brickwork bonding to match the existing church.
A glazed link provides access to the main church with a small courtyard between.
