Having qualified in Brazil in 2012 as an Architect at Centro Universitario Franciscano, Jonas underwent practice training at Box Studio in Santa Maria before forming Cuatro Arquitetos with three other partners where he was responsible for designing commercial and residential buildings. Late in 2013 he relocated to the UK and joined John Evennett Associates where he was involved with commercial and residential projects including restoration of the Crown Hotel and the George Hotel in Fakenham. A move in 2014 to Daniel Connal Partnership broadened his experience to include working on the design of an extension to London's Groveland Hospital as well as barn conversions, new build and restoration projects. Further qualifications were undertaken as a Master of Science in Sustainable Architectural Design at the University of Lincoln and a Masters in Architecture at Kingston University London (ARB/RIBA Part 2). Currently, Jonas is undertaking a Postgraduate Diploma in Professional Practice (ARB/RIBA Part 3) which will lead to registration in the UK as a Chartered Architect. As well as being registered in Brazil and the UK in the near future, Jonas is a registered Architect in Portugal, allowing him to act as such in most EU countries.
At SMG Architects Jonas has had the opportunity to work on residential extensions and new buildings, commercial renovations and special sectors such as church buildings.
